What Is Continuing Anglicanism?
Continuing Anglican churches preserve the historic faith, worship, and sacramental life of traditional Anglicanism. Our worship follows the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and the American Missal, maintaining a distinctly Anglo-Catholic tradition rooted in Scripture and the historic Church.

Let us know you’re interested!
We believe Lewiston could be an ideal home for a new traditional Anglican congregation. Before establishing a parish, we are seeking a small group of individuals and families who desire reverent worship, historic Christian teaching, and the sacramental life of the Church.

Meet The Rev. Father Vince Varnas

The Rev. Father Vincent Varnas was ordained to the priesthood in April 2015 in the Anglican Province of America by its founder The Most Rev. Walter Grundorf. I have planted mission churches in both Washington and Oregon since my ordination. In September 2022, I became Rector of St. Michael Anglican Church in Wilsonville, Oregon. Soon thereafter, I moved the church to Beaverton (Aloha) Oregon, as a home church.
I received my MA degree in Theology at the Mt. Angel Oregon (Roman Catholic) Seminary in June 2012. My education also includes a BA degree in Political Science and an MPA degree in Public Administration from the University of Dayton (Ohio), and an MS degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from the University of Oregon.
I am retired from the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs with 20 years in Human Resource Management Service as a Labor & Employee Relations Manager.
